Small child's hands folded in prayer

Being faithful in prayer

God calls us to be joyful in hope.

Patient in affliction.

Faithful in prayer.

This three-legged stool of daily living wouldn’t stand without that last leg.

For it is in persistent and dogged communion with God that we find both the hope and the patience we need to deal with the challenges of this world.

Experiencing a peace that passes all understanding doesn’t happen by accident.

It happens through the daily discipline of spending time with the only One who can provide it.

James 5:16 (NIV)
Philippians 4: 4-7 (NIV)
