Trusting God in the wait

Seasons of waiting are just a part of life.

We all go through them, and often they’re not pleasant.

Because we want answers now.

We want to know what’s next.

We want to set our clocks and mark our calendars to give us a sense of control over whatever’s ahead.

God knows that waiting is hard for us.

He also knows that the soil of waiting can be fertile ground—depending upon how we use it.

If we ask God to use the wait to enrich our relationship with him, he can strengthen us and plant seeds of growth that will flourish when the waiting is over.

Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
